The reasons for personal choices already given are very good ones - all are valid. Like I said before Slot Car Racing has many aspects to it and I haven't found any of them yet that I don't enjoy. I enjoy painting with an air brush( always looking for a concourse winner that is still an ultra light body. I enjoy building highly detaled 1/32 cars, especially Classic Sport racers, and Classic F1s. I enjoy the tension and adrenaline rush of 1/24 Grp racing, 1/32 wing cars, and HO Neo Modifieds. I like the scale detailing on 1/32 and the way you can drift them through a curve and they look like a real race car. I have raced High proformance slot cars in all three scales for over forty years, and I enjoy all of them. The HO modified cars are like driving a fast Grp 7, But they are much smaller and harder to see. Still if you prefer HO or Scalextric type 1/32s good luck to you The high performance 1/32 cars are faster than HO cars. I enjoy RACING high performance 1/32 cars more
